قَالَتۡ یٰوَیۡلَتٰۤیءَ اَلِدُ وَ اَنَا عَجُوۡزٌ وَّ ہٰذَا بَعۡلِیۡ شَیۡخًا ؕ اِنَّ ہٰذَا لَشَیۡءٌ عَجِیۡبٌ ﴿۷۲﴾
72. وہ کہنے لگیں: وائے حیرانی! کیا میں بچہ جنوں گی حالانکہ میں بوڑھی (ہو چکی) ہوں اور میرے یہ شوہر (بھی) بوڑھے ہیں؟ بیشک یہ تو بڑی عجیب چیز ہےo
72. She said: ‘Amazing! Shall I bear a child when I am an extremely old woman, and this husband of mine is an extremely older man? That would indeed be an astonishing thing!’*
* Prophet Ibrahim was said to be 120 years old at the time, and his wife Sara was 99.
